SMS module

Close the deal in the channel they actually answer

Hold a real back-and-forth with leads and customers over text, send it under your own name, and let them pay an order from the same thread. One inbox, not a separate SMS tool bolted on the side.

A conversation, not a blast

Replies land in a shared inbox, tied to the right person

Every inbound text drops into a live inbox and matches itself to the lead or customer it came from, by phone number. The whole thread sits next to that contact, so whoever picks it up sees the history instead of a stray number. Threads open, close, and archive, and unread counts tell the team what still needs a reply.

  • Inbound and outbound in one threaded view, updating in real time
  • Auto-matched to the lead or customer, so context comes with the message
  • Assign a conversation to an agent and track what is still unread

What the module gives you

Built for how a sales team texts

Templates with merge tags

Save the messages you send all day. First name, company, your org name, the agent's name and the date fill themselves in.

Your own sender name

Send under your domain as the sender, or from an agent's own number. The recipient sees who it is, not a random shortcode.

Speaks their language

Templates resolve to the customer's locale, with a sensible fallback, so a Danish buyer gets Danish and a Swedish buyer gets Swedish.

Pay-links on an order

Drop a Stripe checkout link straight into the thread. The buyer taps, pays, and the link retires the moment the order is settled.

Tied to the contact

Threads live on the lead or customer record, so the next person to open it inherits the full conversation.

Branded short links

Links in outbound texts get shortened through your own domain, which keeps messages moving past carrier link checks.

Collecting payment

From order to paid, over a text

01

Send the pay-link

On an unpaid order, fire the 'pay online' action. The customer gets an email and a text with a secure checkout link, in their language and with their order total.

02

They pay on Stripe

The link opens a Stripe checkout for that exact order. No login, no chasing an invoice across channels.

03

The link retires itself

The pay-link is a signed token that expires and dies the instant the order is marked paid, so a stale link can't be reused.

Where the modules connect

A reply can set the next step in motion

Texts don't sit in a silo. An inbound reply is a signal your Rules engine can act on, the same way it acts on a call outcome or a new lead. Decide once what should happen when someone answers, and the rest of the suite follows, instead of waiting on someone to remember.

  • Send SMS from a rule, using the template you choose
  • Trigger the pay-link send as part of an order workflow
  • Inbound replies feed the same engagement signals the rest of the suite reads

Straight answers

Can customers text us back?

Yes. This is two-way. Inbound messages land in the shared inbox, matched to the lead or customer who sent them, and your team replies in the same thread.

What name do messages come from?

Your own. You can send under your domain as an alphanumeric sender name, or from an individual agent's number, so the recipient knows who's writing.

How does paying by text work?

On an order, you send a link that opens a Stripe checkout for that order. The buyer pays from their phone, and the link expires once the order is paid.

Will the links survive carrier filtering?

Outbound links are shortened through your own branded domain, which is the format carriers are most willing to pass. We give you the capability; we don't guarantee any carrier's delivery.

Is it on every plan?

SMS is a module you switch on, and texts and pay-links route through Stripe and an SMS provider you connect. The free CRM core doesn't include it by default.

Turn on SMS and let the conversation close the sale

Text leads and customers, answer them in one inbox, and collect payment on an order without leaving the thread.
